Materials used in our Jewellery
Our jewellery is made using semi-precious gemstones, sterling silver, glass and wood. We always aim to use items that are made by people in good environments, and purchase at fair prices.

We buy from England, China, America, the Philippines, and many other places. Most of our wood is sourced in the Philippines, and we pay twice the going rate for the materials as it is our desire to give something back to our second home.

The sterling silver we use is bought in England which helps us to guarantee that we are not purchasing silver with nickel content. It is illegal to sell sterling silver with nickel content in the whole of Europe, and in many other places in the world.

The glass we use comes from the Philippines, China, and England. Again when purchasing from Filipino`s we offer a better rate than the going market value which we believe is a fair price for the produce.

Our semi-precious gemstones come from around the world, depending on the types of gemstones and quality we are looking for. We have changed suppliers for different semi-precious gemstones many times as the quality can vary wildly. The best quality tiger eye beads we have found are from China, and strangely the worst were from America. We are not truly satisfied with any type of bead, but look for the best we can.

The following list shows you the types of semi-precious gemstones that we use in our designs. We have started to research these minerals with the aim to give you a better idea of what each type of semi-precious mineral is.

Amethyst, Aventurine, Carnelian, Citrine, Jade, Obsidian, Onyx, Opal, Pearl, Quartz, Rose Quartz, Tiger Eye, Turquoise, Unakite,
